RADAR invites intermediate and advanced dancers in grades 7-12 to join us for an exciting week long dance intensive! The intensive is designed to give dancers an opportunity to develop their dance technique and express themselves creatively during the summer. New this year, the intensive offers two options for participation, partial and full day, providing a personalized experience based on each dancer's individual needs and interests.

 

The week will include daily technique classes in Ballet and Modern, as well as supplemental classes such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, Salsa and Yoga Flow for both the partial and full day options. In addition to technique, dancers who select the full day option will spend each afternoon developing their performance skills learning and rehearsing a piece to be performed at our June 15th "Dancing in the Park" Concert at the RVA Big Market in Bryan Park.

 

The intensive will be held on June 10-14 at Henrico High School. Below are details for each option:

 

Partial Day

• Technique only

• Monday-Friday / 8:30am-12:45pm

• $300 + $25 non-refundable registration fee

Full Day

• Technique & Performance

• Monday-Friday / 8:30am-3:00pm

• Saturday Dancing in the Park Concert / 10am & 11am

• $400 + $25 non-refundable registration fee

College and professional dancers are welcome to attend the technique classes at a drop in rate (sliding scale $15-20 per class).
